The competition theme is “LIFE IN THE NEW NORMAL” and is opened to the public currently residing in Brunei Darussalam.

The text of the theme does not have to be illustrated on the entry. We are looking for the interpretation of the theme through the entry.

​

Entry forms can be downloaded from the BITA website at www.bita.org.bn or collected from the BITA Office on the 1st floor of the Kiulap Plaza Hotel or from offices and branches of any insurance company or takaful operators.

​

Name, address, age, date of birth and other details (where applicable) must be clearly printed on the entry form and then attached to the back of the entry. Any entries bearing incomplete entry forms may not be considered.

​

All entries must be submitted in minimum A3 (420mm wide x 297mm high) size paper or canvas in either portrait or landscape orientation.

​

The entry can be drawn or painted in pencil, charcoal, pen or ink, felt-tip markers, crayon, pastel, water colours, gouache, acrylics, oils, poster colour or collage. Computer aided design (CAD) may be entered.

​

Participants, although not compulsory, may submit a brief description (of not more than 100 words) of the entry and method of execution, which may be considered during judging.

​

It should be noted that once artwork is received by BITA, they become our property and may be reproduced at our discretion and may only be returned at our discretion. All entries are accepted as original works and we are not responsible for any breach of copyright. We will not accept liability for loss or damage to any work submitted.

 

Participants may only submit one entry into the competition.

​

Entries are to be submitted to the BITA Office no later than 10:00am, Wednesday, 31 March 2021.

By entering the BITA Drawing & Painting Competition entrants are agreeing to the conditions of entry.BITA’s decision on all matters pertaining to the above is final it reserves the right, at any time, and from time to time to amend, modify, vary, or discontinue the terms of this competition.

Top 4 entries from each category will be selected and winners will receive their prizes at an event to be confirmed at a later date.
